Mishasha
Mishasha is a rising star in the Afrobeats and Afro Dancehall music scene. Born in South Africa to Ghanaian and Nigeria parents, she moved to Ghana at an early age, and is a classically trained musician who plays the flute, the piano alongside the guitar.
Her love for began singing at a young age where she would tag her along her sisters for choir/instrument rehearsals and that made her sign up on sight-reading (sofa notation) and transposing music, song writing and quickly fell in love with the vibrant rhythms and melodies of African music. At age 14 she made her first solo performance in High School and honed her skills by performing at local events and karaoke bars.
Mishasha’s sound is a unique blend of traditional Afrobeats rhythms and contemporary R&B melodies, with a touch of soul. She writes and performs in English, Twi and Yoruba, showcasing her cultural heritage and diversity in her music.
Mishasha is known for her powerful vocals and emotive performances, and has been praised for her ability to connect with her audience. She has released several singles and music videos, and has been featured on popular streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
In addition to her music career, Mishasha is a social entrepreneur, accountant by profession, a nutritionist and is also an advocate for mental health and self-care, and often uses her platform to raise awareness and promote positive change.
